New Software Engineer Joins Center for Environmental Energy Engineering Research Team

UPS Engineer Prasad Naraharishetty joins CEEE research team.

Prasad Naraharishetty joins CEEE as a Faculty Research Assistant providing support of the software group by developing user interface and algorithms, providing user support, and benchmarking commercial packages and platforms.  Before joining CEEE, he worked as a senior software engineer at several Fortune 500 companies that include Intel, UPS, Cisco, and Logitech.  In his professional career he developed applications for UPS Worldship's  automation brake hose system tool at Freudenberg Germany.

Mr. Naraharishetty has a M.S. degree in Mechatronics Engineering from Aachen University in Germany and a B.S.'s degree in Production Engineering (Specialization in Mechanical Engineering) from Osmania University in India.  He  is looking forward to getting involved in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including design, development and maintenance of optimization and thermal systems modeling tools.

He lives in Ellicott City with his wife, Padma Guddati, and daughter Yukthi.  He enjoys listening to music, playing volleyball, and watching movies.
