Introduction

The ongoing research in ISOC has the objective to provide verified, user-friendly software for the design and analysis for thermal management systems, in particular air-conditioning and refrigeration systems and their components.

All programs will be integrated with optimization algorithms for the optimization of thermal systems regarding a number of variables that include: COP, capacity, eliability, weight, volume, first and operating cost, manufacturability and others.

Emphasis is placed on ensuring software compatibility so that ISOC software easily interfaces with sponsors' in-house code.
